Attorney Maisha Blakeney

Maisha is a graduate of Buffalo State College (B.S and M.S.) and the University of New York at Buffalo School of Law (J.D. 2016). 

 

Prior to establishing her own practice, Maisha successfully represented clients in a broad range of fields including real estate, foreclosure and loss mitigation, civil defense and  plaintiff personal injury matters. While in New York, Maisha was actively involved in many New York Bar related organizations as a member of the Young Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association; Young Lawyers' Section of the New York State Bar Association where she also served on the Membership Committee and as an Eighth Judicial District Representative; Woman's Bar Association of Western New York and the Erie County Bar Association where she served on the Justice Courts, Minority Lawyers Outreach and the Negligence Committees. She is also a Past –President of the Minority Bar Association of Western New York. 

 

Maisha continues to volunteer her time in the South Carolina Bar as a member of several committees, including the Professional Responsibility committee; Discipline committee, Education committee, Ethics Advisory committee and Law Related Education.  

 

Service to my community as well as service to my clients are my top priorities.
